Welcome to the blog on the new www.benjamineckstein.com. I have needed this site for a while now, as a supplement to my business site at www.berylliumpictures.com, and as a place to share my personal and professional work. I have been out on my own working as a freelance director of photography, editor and producer for two and a half years and absolutely love what I do. I feel very lucky, in fact, to call this my job. I get to work with great people, companies, and organizations, and every day, it seems, is a new and different experience. I plan to use this blog to talk about the different projects I am working on, new gear I am working with, and in general what life is like as a freelancer.
I want to thank Rob Baker from Kabimba Media for building this site for me. He did a great job and I cannot recommend him enough.
